The SRD-500DW is an automatic sealed streamer retriever device that aids in the recovery of seismic streamers that have been accidentally severed from a tow vessel. These devices are placed at specific intervals on the streamer and are activated when the streamer sinks to a pre-programmed depth between 20 to 200 meters.
